Fun in the Jungle 7 - Days / 6 Nights

Stay in one the two best-known jungle lodges in Belize for days filled with fun and adventure. Both of these lodges are located on the banks of the Macal River and there are plenty of on-site activities to enjoy. Either of these lodges is the right choice for you.

Day 1
Arrive at BZE International Airport where your guide will be waiting for you at the passenger exit area with a sign with your name on it. Transfer by road to San Ignacio, in the Cayo District, with a stop at the Community Baboon Sanctuary, if your flight arrival-time permits.

Day 3
Black Hole Drop (Rappelling)
Stretch your comfort zone as you rappel 300 feet down into a jungle sink hole deep in the rainforest. This expedition starts off with a vigorous hike into the foothills of the Maya Mountains. A RUSH LIKE NO OTHER !!!

Day 4
Zip-Line Canopy Tour & Cave Tubing
A Canopy Tours offer the adventurous visitor a thrilling opportunity to soar through the jungle treetops high above the forest floor; Then enter an exciting realm where rivers disappear into the underworld as you float on inner tubes with only your headlamp to lead the way.

Day 5
Actun Tunichil Muknal Tour (ATM Cave)
Travel back in time and follow pathways used by the Maya and discover lost worlds that have been hidden deep within the jungle for centuries.

Treking for 45 minutes through dense forest, fording the river 3 times just to get to Base Camp is an adventure in itself. A short swim will take you into the cave. View ancient altars, human sacrifices and the remains of pottery left behind by the Maya. This is definitely a "Once in a Lifetime Experience".

Day 6
Horseback Riding through fields and forest to Flour Camp Cave. Explore the cave and picnic along side the Macal River, then canoe or tube downstream to your pick-up point. There are plenty of spots to enjoy a Refreshing Swim along the way.

Note: Our horses are easy-going and suitable for riders of all abilities and ages.

Day 7
Departure Day - Now it's time to head home and share your adventures with your friends. Transfer to BZE International Airport with a stop at the Belize Zoo when your flight schedule permits.

Important - This Package begins from the time you leave the airport exit terminal to when you are ready to board again for your flight home or onward destination. And includes All costs for Transport, Accommodations, Tours/Fees & Equipment and ALL meals, starting with dinner on your arrival day to breakfast on your departure day.

A Belize Departure Tax of US $39.25 per person is not included in our package prices. Most airlines now include this cost in their ticket price. At the present time, May, 2010, American Airlines does not include this tax. If not included, you will need to pay this Tax, in US$, directly to the airport authorities at Philip S. Goldson International Airport, on the date of your departure.
