Day 1
Arrive Belize International Airport - Transfer by Air to Placencia

Day2
Laughing Bird Caye National Park, is located 17 kilometers off the coast of Placencia. It is named after a laughing gull species that formally resided there. Frigate Birds, Pelicans and Brown Boobies are a few of the species that still frequent this caye. This small island retreat, where you can view soft and hard coral and colorful marine life in shallow waters, offers great snorkeling for all ages. More about Snorkeling & Diving in Placencia.
Day 3
Snorkel trip to Silk Caye where the snorkeling is superb and the water is shallow and sheltered.... or choose to begin your morning with an early departure and enjoy a full-day Monkey River Tour where you travel by boat 20km southwest to the practically untouched Monkey River, teeming with fish, bird life and howler monkeys.
Day 4
Transfer to San Ignacio - On the way enjoy a refreshing swim at the Inland Blue Hole.

Day 5
Begin your Cayo adventure with Horseback Riding through fields and forest to Flour Camp Cave. Explore the cave and picnic along side the Macal River before canoeing or tubing to your pick-up point. There are plenty of spots to enjoy a Refreshing Swim as you drift downstream.
Note: Our horses are easy-going and suitable for riders of all abilities and ages.
Day 6
Actun Tunichil Muknal Tour (ATM Cave)
Travel back in
time and follow pathways used by the Maya
and discover lost worlds that have been hidden deep
within the jungle for centuries.
Trekking for 45 minutes through dense forest, fording the river 3 times just to get to Base Camp is an adventure in itself. A short swim (with life jacket & headlamp) will take you into the cave. View ancient altars, human sacrifices and the remains of pottery left behind by the Maya. This is definitely a "Once in a Lifetime Experience".
Day 7
An early morning departure takes you to Tikal in
Guatemala, the most famous Mayan site in Central America. Tikal is located
in the lowlands of the Petén region in Guatemala and 1.5 hours by road from
Belize's western border. Tikal is the only place in the world which has been
declared both a Natural & Cultural
Heritage Site for Humanity.
Day 8
Time to head home and think about your next trip to Belize. Transfer to BZE International Airport with a stop at the Belize Zoo or the Community Baboon Sanctuary, if your flight schedule permits.

Important - This Packages begins from the time you leave the airport exit terminal to when you are ready to board again for your flight home or onward destination. And includes All costs for Transport, Accommodations, Tours/Fees & Equipment and ALL meals at your inland destinations, starting with dinner on your arrival day to breakfast on your departure day.
Breakfast and lunch are included in the Placencia portion of this package. You will find many fine places to enjoy dinner in the Placencia area with a variety of cuisines to suit your taste and budget.
A Belize Departure Tax of US $39.25 per person is not included in our package prices. Most airlines now include this cost in their ticket price. At the present time, May, 2010, American Airlines does not include this tax. If not included, you will need to pay this Tax, in US$, directly to the airport authorities at Philip S. Goldson International Airport, on the date of your departure.
