Belize Weddings at duPlooy's
Here's what duPlooy Travel planned and organized for one couple recently....This was their dream wedding. Let us help you plan your dream wedding in Belize ....
The Bride and Groom arrived 3 days ahead of a small group of friends and family to give them time to get their Belize Marriage Licence, finalize the arrangements and choose the perfect spot for their wedding ceremony - they chose the pergola in the Belize Botanic Gardens.
When their friends arrived the day before the ceremony, stopping at the Belize Zoo along the way, they had a small cocktail party and rehearsal dinner.
The next day everyone, except the bride, her attendant and her mother, canoed down the Macal River to San Ignacio, had lunch at a local restaurant and afterwards toured Xunantunich, before returning to duPlooy's Jungle Lodge to get ready for the ceremony. While everyone was off on their adventure, the bride enjoyed a relaxing massage.
After the ceremony and champagne toast in Belize Botanic Gardens, there was music, dinner and dancing on the deck.
The next morning the bride and groom left for their honeymoon in Placencia and French Louis Caye while their friends enjoyed 2 more days of Inland Adventures before traveling to Ambergris Caye for a few days.
