Patty & Jason's Orchid House is a spacious one-bedroom house directly across the road from the resort on the lagoon side A short orchid walk through the mangroves leads you to this airy house high above the ground. The house has beautiful hardwood floors, a full kitchen, tiled bath with hot water and a tub, a roomy bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a large living/dining room with two sofa beds (can be a double bed), ceiling fans, and a unique mahogany screened patio overlooking a small marina. PALMETTO GUESTHOUSE -
A charming two-story guesthouse located approximate 600’ west of the resort, with a lovely view of the lagoon and the Maya Mountains AND a hot tub. Very private.
Upper Floor: You enter on an extensive wrap around 540 square foot screened porch overlooking the trees, the Placencia Lagoon and wonderful views of the Mayan Mountains. The house is open to the porch through four large doors. Inside you will find a spacious living room with a couch, rocking and lounge chair, large coffee table and an entertainment center that includes a TV, VCR, DVD Player, and a stereo. The gourmet kitchen includes a microwave, espresso coffee maker, microwave, gas stove, stainless cooking ware and a large refrigerator. You can dine in side or on the porch at a large tile dinning table on wheels that will comfortably seat 6. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a large closet. Up a ladder on the west side of the house is a loft with two single beds and a fan. Spacious, comfortable, private, a great get away. Sleeps 4.

This is a humble little cement bungalow with air conditioning and a beautiful private beach. The bath is two steps from the back door, and includes a hot water shower. Hammocks are strung on the front porch. Sleeps 2 (1 bed).
